On January 5, Foshan Nanhai Grandblue Energy Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Grandblue Energy Investment”) and Beijing ENN Energy Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “ENN Energy”) signed a cooperation agreement in Dongguan, formally establishing a strategic partnership. Under the agreement, the two parties will carry out comprehensive and in-depth collaboration in the green and low-carbon energy sector. The signing ceremony was attended by Zhang Yuying, CEO of ENN Energy, and Lu Xuesong, Vice President and General Manager of the Guangdong Region, as well as Jin Duo, President of Grandblue, and Jiang Yuanjie, Vice President.
Grandblue Energy Investment and ENN Energy will take the green and low- and zero-carbon sector as the core focus of their partnership, advancing in-depth cooperation in the cascading utilization of integrated energy. Key areas of collaboration will include steam heat supply from waste-to-energy projects, large-scale biogas collection, purification and sales, and green electricity sales, while also actively expanding diversified integrated energy cooperation.
This collaboration represents not only the pooling and sharing of resources between Grandblue and ENN Energy Holdings Limited, the parent company of ENN Energy, but more importantly a strategic complementarity and value reconstruction grounded in industrial logic. As a leading domestic clean energy supplier, ENN Energy operates approximately 82,000 kilometers of medium- and high-pressure pipeline networks nationwide. Leveraging extensive full-scenario customer resources, strong multi-energy network operation capabilities, and advanced digital intelligent dispatching technologies, the company currently provides energy services to 31.38 million residential users and more than 270,000 enterprise customers across China. As a leading domestic environmental protection enterprise, Grandblue has actively explored green energy utilization pathways in recent years. The company possesses stable and reliable industrial waste-heat steam resources, with 30 waste-to-energy projects under its portfolio having signed external heat supply agreements, of which 22 projects have already commenced external heat supply. In addition, Grandblue has established a mature biogas collection and supply system. Its flagship project, China’s first large-scale integrated food waste biogas-to-hydrogen production and refueling facility, achieves an annual hydrogen output of approximately 2,200 tons. The company also holds abundant, stable, and traceable green certificate resources, with more than 11.5 million tradable green certificates remaining within their validity period as of the end of October 2025.
Jin Duo, President of Grandblue, stated that the two parties share a high degree of alignment in business philosophy, social responsibility, and corporate culture, providing a solid foundation for future collaboration. Against the backdrop of profound global energy structure transformation, both sides will fully integrate their respective strengths to jointly unlock a strategic synergy in which the combined impact exceeds the sum of its parts. ENN Energy has cultivated the energy sector over the long term with forward-looking strategic positioning, while Grandblue has achieved nationwide and diversified business coverage in the environmental protection industry. This collaboration is expected to open new avenues for green energy cooperation and contribute to the development of a more robust and sustainable green energy ecosystem.
Zhang Yuying, CEO of ENN Energy, noted that since 2016, ENN Energy and Grandblue have maintained a long-term and stable partnership across the natural gas, residential services, and integrated energy sectors. Building on this strategic alliance, both parties will leverage the complementary strengths of “production” and “operations,” as well as “points” and “networks,” to generate strong synergistic effects. The two sides will jointly explore opportunities in the green energy and environmental services markets, concentrate their respective advantageous resources, and advance cooperative projects with a high level of commitment, ensuring efficient execution and the early realization of tangible outcomes.
Looking ahead, Grandblue will work closely with ENN Energy to integrate industrial resources, promote the efficient utilization of green energy through innovation, and deliver energy-efficient, cost-effective, clean, and low-carbon energy solutions to customers. At the same time, the partnership will contribute practical and sustainable cooperation models to support the comprehensive green transformation of regional economies and societies.
